Far East Energy Announces Operations Update Call

Houston, Texas,September 25, 2008 –Far East Energy Corporation(OTC BB:FEEC)announced today that it will host an operations update call Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Central Time. Michael R. McElwrath, CEO and President, will provide an update on operations and other developments.

Call details will be announced early next week in a separate press release.
